In our second programme on this topic, we will see how God according to his righteousness was able to cover the sins of His people in the Old Testament and forgive the sins of His New Testament believers (Rom. 3:21-26). God’s righteous requirements have been fulfilled through Christ’s redemptive death. His righteousness is the foundation for us to approach God to be forgiven of our sins, and the source of our eternal security.
