The MOBO awards are back this year and nominated for Best Gospel Act are Sarah Teibo, Still Shadey, Asha Elia, Calledout Music, Reblah and Rachel Kerr. Muyiwa spoke with some of the nominees in an Instagram Live and got their thoughts on how they feel to be nominated. Rachel Kerr said: for the first time in a long time I can see liberty, I can see freedom.
When asked who they would like to win the group paused for a moment before Sarah said: thats not a good question with Rachel following it up with whoever wins, I win to!. The nominees made a pact to all go and collect the award if called up at the ceremony, which would be a first in the categories history and send a message of unity to the world.
