The group struck gold with their recent Elevation Worship collaboration, breaking first-day streaming records on both Apple and Spotify. The brainchild of Elevations Steven Furtick, Old Church Basement has been a mainstay in the Billboard charts ever since its release.
Maverick City Music are currently gearing up for the release of their new Juneteenth project which is rumoured to feature Grammy Award winning Tori Kelly, P Diddy and Justin Bieber.
Bieber recently teamed up with Maverick Citys frontman Chandler Moore, to lead worship at his home church - Churchome. The worship set which included songs such as Mavericks Jireh and Biebers How do I fit in, has since been viewed almost 800,000 times on Youtube. Overcome by the presence of God, a visibly emotional Bieber prayed: I just ask that you just use me. Use me in my brokenness, use me in my pain, use me through my struggle. use us Lord use us to change the world.
