BBC Songs of Praise's Gospel Singer of the Year is back and in the finals this weekend and we caught up with Mica Paris to talk all things gospel. The soul singer is on the judging panel for the 4th year in a row and says she's excited about the diversity on this eyars show, with artists from both the continent of Africa and there Carribbean coming together to battle it out for the title. Paris also spoke about her gospel upbringing and bring a child prodigy, taking on huge church conventions from a young age and even singing with Bazil Meade in the London Community Gospel Choir.
