Grammy-winning Maverick City Music members Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine have announced their departures from the worship collective.
Both shared on social media that, after much prayer and reflection, they feel called to embark on individual journeys, while continuing to create and lead worship music.

Their announcements were met with an outpouring of support from artists and fans alike. Many acknowledged the duo’s impact: “You helped change a generation! Excited about what’s next for you!”
Israel Houghton thanked Chandler saying "Thank you for great songs and moments with God. Thank you Chandler."
Rapper Anike wrote: "In life there are seasons & God definitely used you to encourage millions in their faith to trust God, begin a relationship with God, and even hold on through the tough seasons.
The beautiful thing about having your identity be “a child of God” is that it doesn’t matter what group you’re with, or what capacity you’re serving in, you’re still God’s child who’s still valued and loved in every phase. Excited to see you step into your next chapter with God & for you to witness God do exceedingly and abundantly more than you can think or imagine 🙏🏾"
