Rapper Snoop Dogg releases first gospel song

The American music artist, whos sold more than 35 million albums across the world, has teamed up with gospel artist B-Slade for the song titled Words are few.

Lyrics in the song include: Things aint what they seem, feeling Like Im fooling me.

I know God is calling me, Im not where Im supposed to be.

Sitting here smoking trees, when I should be on my knees.

The song is the first from a new gospel project hes been working on.

Speaking to Beats 1 Radio earlier this year, he said: "I'm working on a gospel album. It's always been on my heart.

I just never got around to it because I always be doing gangsta business and doing this and doing that. But I just feel like it's been on my heart too long."

Fred Hammond is also expected to feature on the album.

Controversial rapper Snoop Dogg has swapped songs about drugs and girls for a new track about God (and drugs).
