Crowned winner of the BET Sunday Best competition, Season 9 Melvin Crispell, III received a recording contract with RCA Inspiration, a cash prize of $50,000 (38,258.50) and the title Sunday Best.
UK artist are again getting the opportunity to be in the fray as BET open up UK auditions at their London offices on Saturday 1st February. Season 9 saw UK Judges Guvna B, Karen Gibson and Premier Gospel Station Director Muyiwa Olarewaju choose 23 year old James Thompson from Derby as the UK contestant. James made it to the finals and told Premier Gospel it was an amazing experienceand I recommend UK artist to get involved"
