Award-winning artist, Sarah Teibo, recently shared the moving story behind her latest single 'All Clear', released on Friday 23rd. In a heartfelt blog post, Teibo revealed the challenging journey she has faced over the last two years.

Sarah confessed, “The truth is, the last 2 years have marked one of the most turbulent seasons of my life. Adulting is no joke I tell you! Everything really came to a head on the 17th of April 2023 when I received what is probably the most dreaded news anyone could ever be handed - ‘you have thyroid cancer’.”

The diagnosis sent her into a mental spiral as she grappled with accepting her health status. Despite being a Christian and believing in God's promise of good health, she found herself battling against the reality of being a 'cancer patient'.

On May 3rd, Sarah underwent surgery and three weeks later, was declared cancer-free. However, her ordeal didn't end there. The surgery resulted in Mild Vocal Cord Paresis - a condition that affected her ability to speak and sing clearly. This was a particularly hard blow for Sarah who feared that she might never be able to sing again.

After months of intense therapy and rehabilitation, Sarah found her voice again - both literally and figuratively. Her latest single 'All Clear' was born from this personal journey. It is not just a song but a testament of faith, perseverance and resilience in the face of life's most challenging moments.
