In a world where most people work hard to earn God’s blessings, all we need to do is to accept and believe in His finished works. We’ve already been blessed and accepted as members of God’s royal family; this happens automatically when we get born again. He has given us undeserved gifts because we are—and always will be—His beloved children, regardless of what we do. Faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross enables us to continually bring our earthly walk closer in tune with God’s will for us.

Believers need to know about fighting in the spiritual realm. When something bad happens, we make a mistake to assume that it happened because we did something wrong. The devil, our enemy, is real and will fight us every step of the way to prevent us from walking the worthy walk God asks of us. We’ll be in deep trouble if we’re unaware that we’re in a fight; it’s therefore imperative to know that we are at war and that we must not only defend ourselves, but go on the offensive by using God’s Word.
Our external environment operates completely opposite from God. Contrary to the world’s monetary system based on money, God uses love as His currency. When Jesus came, He replaced the Law of Moses with God’s law of love; as Christians, this is the law we must live by. The law of love fills us up with everything we need until we reach the point where we overflow and the excess spills over onto others. Paying the debt of love changes lives and releases the power to transform people into His image.
Because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross, the broken relationship between God and mankind that resulted from Adam and Eve’s sin has been restored. Everything about the restoration of this friendship revolves around Christ, because reconciliation wouldn’t have been possible without Him. This means that not only can we be reconciled to God, but we can also be reconciled to each other.
