We’re living in a time of strife and division, in which inequality between race, gender, and social and economic status is present. This is because the world doesn’t know Jesus Christ, who enables believers to share a common relationship of equality. The enemy has worked hard to divide people by enforcing a spirit of inferiority or superiority; however, in Christ, we’re all equal. Christians can now operate in a stance of victory and demonstrate the equality that has been made available to everyone.

Equality is a much-used term in the secular world, but in a biblical context, we’re all equal when we’re one in Christ. Being born again makes us new creations, and causes old divisions and distinctions based on race, nationality, or gender to pass away. Being equal doesn’t mean being the same, but being united as one, despite our differences.
When Jesus came, He leveled the playing field for everyone.
We live in a world surrounded by spiritual influences, not all of them good. If we’re not careful, we can fall prey to philosophies that make us feel inferior. The spirit of inferiority isn’t God’s will. When He made mankind, He made men and women in His image and at a level where they could have equal fellowship with Him. Jesus brings equality to everyone, with no distinction; an understanding of who we are in Him banishes all feelings of inferiority.
