Alan Charles’ play, Why Didn’t I Get Married?, highlights the stark 7:1 ratio of women to men in the church. He suggests the institution may be complicit by benefiting from the time and resources single women dedicate to ministry. Rather than just telling women to "wait and pray," Charles argues the church must actively engage and empower men. Through "edutainment," he pushes for honest conversations and practical solutions instead of "prettying up" the issue.
