At St Mary’s church in East Preston, Sussex villagers created a cascade of thousands of poppies down the steeple of the church to mark Remembrance Sunday.
More than 11,000 knitted and crocheted poppies were hand created by local people - members of the East Preston Yarn bombers with help from the community - and it created quite the spectacle. Vicar of St Mary’s, Rev Andrew Perry join Esther Higham to share the inspirational story behind this feat.
