Joseph Laroche, the only black passenger on the Titanic, was a Haitian engineer. He ensured his pregnant wife and two daughters got onto a lifeboat, but he did not survive. His story is now told in the stage play "Echoes of Valour". Actor Destiny Osagiede brings Joseph’s story to life and tells Michael Fanstone all about it.
