Rabbi Daniel Roth is an academic who originally hails from upstate New York but now lives in Jerusalem. He describes himself as a religious zionist and believes that far from religion being the problem within local and global conflicts, it is the key and also the solution.
Roth has a Ph.D. in Conflict Management, Resolution & Negotiation and is the Director of Mosaica a religious peace initiative where he leads religious mediators across Israel and the Palestinian territories to build better relationships.
His work has seen him mediate in community tensions during the Yom Kippur riots in 2008 and the Temple Mount crises in 2017 as well as other religiously sensitive situations.
