To an unexpected invitation, Ann immediately said yes to volunteer as the licensed counselor aboard the Africa Mercy for two years. Her husband however, took a bit more convincing! But once on board, it was obvious that God had a wonderful gift in store for Ann and her husband, one that they would never have dreamed of. In this episode Ann shares about the importance of having a mental health professional on board our vessels. She also tells of the incredible blessings of close relationships, her time bonding with patients, and the ways her two years on board have shaped her life today.
