In 2004, she left the NHS to become an Anglican priest, serving in London, Salisbury, and Crediton before becoming the Bishop of London in 2018. Born in Nigeria and moving to the UK at four, Chine McDonald, got her first by-line at six. She studied theology at Cambridge and trained as a journalist, writing for The Times and The Financial Times. A regular on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Thought for the Day’ and the ‘Daily Service’, she also serves on charity boards like Greenbelt and Christian Aid. Currently, she is the Director of Theos and the author of Am I Beautiful?
Dr. Claire Gilbert is an author, lecturer, and ethical mentor. She has founded or co-founded five ethics-focused institutions and advised on medical ethics for the Church of England and the BMA. A theology graduate from Oxford and former Research Fellow at King’s College London, Dr. Gilbert's interest in medical ethics is both academic and personal, exploring the question: how ethical is medicine?
