Racism in Ukraine: What Can We Do?

Social media has been awash with pictures and videos of people being denied access to transportation to leave the country because of their race, allegedly being made to wait up to 9 hours to board trains and being turned away despite having children with them.

On Tuesday (March 1st, 2022) Premier Gospel held a Twitter Space discussion around racism in the midst of a crisis where the chief secretary of Churches Together UK, Mike Royal, joined the panel to discuss the situation with Muyiwa.

Amongst them was Premier Gospel listener who shared their views about the embassy's being held responsible and being lenient towards the Ukrainian people during the crisis, stating: "times like these bring out the worst in people."
