This kind of faith is based on His finished works and does not depend on our own works or self-efforts. In Christ, everything that we previously struggled with has been completed; we have already been healed, saved, and made prosperous, righteous, and victorious over issues in life. We can confidently rest in this knowledge

Understanding Your Jesus Identity
Knowing our identity in Christ elevates our lives to a whole new level. Jesus’ death and resurrection defeated sin, brought reconciliation to all of humanity, and defined who we are in Him. Under grace, sin isn’t about what we do, but about being out of sync with our true identity as God’s sons and daughters. We’ve been made holy and righteous without us having to earn this status by our performance. Being aware of what has already been done for us protects us from the enemy’s lies and attacks.
