Changing Your World

God wants to empower us. Specifically, He wants us to be able to break free from addictions, cravings, and lasciviousness. Submitting to a change in identity—from who the world tells us we are to who Christ says we are—delivers us from addictive behaviours. Seeing ourselves the way God sees us through Jesus changes our thinking, which subsequently changes what we do. Looking to Christ is the only way to find freedom from our sins.

Making a commitment in our hearts to do this allows Him to begin specifically guiding and directing us; He’ll never let it be a mystery. God reveals His specific purpose for us by sending the right people and using them to speak into our lives. He wants illumination for us so that we can grasp and comprehend His will.

For the believer, life can seem like a string of constant battles that weigh us down spiritually. When we begin feeling like that, God provides us the opportunity to start over and begin again. He gives us the supernatural ability to win, regardless of what’s happening in the natural; He wants us to triumph; therefore, our victories are guaranteed.
