It’s the first week in power for Sir Keir Starmer and today we look at immigration which certainly is at the top of the Prime Ministers to-do list, as one of the first things he did was to scrap the controversial Rwanda plan. Labour has pledged to tackle the smugglers instead using counter-terrorism powers. Will their approach work better? Founder of the Sanctuary Foundation, Dr Krish Kandiah discussed this with Mal Pope.
