This week’s highlight is taken from Friday’s programme. If we would be those watchfully waiting for the Lord’s return, we must be those who participate in the tribulation, kingdom, and endurance in Jesus (Rev. 1:9). Witness Lee expounds the three key items in this verse, which help us to know how to be prepared for the Lord’s coming back

What is the practical expression of the church, according to the pure word of the Bible? The revelation of Jesus Christ was given to seven local churches that were uniquely identified with seven cities - indicating the New Testament principle of one church in one city (Rev. 1:11). Lee unfolds the progress of the divine revelation encapsulated in four major revelations, and explains how the divine economy is practically worked out in the context of local churches, standing on the genuine ground of oneness.
Today’s programme focuses on the significance of the seven golden lampstands in Revelation 1. The lampstand is a great symbol in the Bible, and intimately linked to God’s building. Witness Lee explains the progressive revelation of this symbol in Exodus 25, Zechariah 4 and consummately in Revelation, where the seven churches are described as seven lampstands.
