God’s salvation is not only to forgive and wash us of our sins but also to make sons of God out of sinners. We will see the basic concept of Romans, showing how sinners can be transformed into genuine sons to express Him as His Body. How does God accomplish this? Wonderfully, we see how this is related to God’s righteousness, holiness and glory.
If you’ve ever had the experience of making a resolution to be better, to try harder, or promising never to do something again then failing miserably – you will want to listen to today’s programme! Witness Lee explains the facts of being in Adam and Christ in Rom. 5-6, the experience of being in the flesh or the Spirit in Rom. 7-8, and the way to “switch on” the freeing law of the Spirit of life!
Paul exposes the three great problems of sin, the law and the flesh in Romans 5-7. Witness Lee opens up how Christ’s work on the cross deals with both what we have done and what we are in our fallen condition. The practical way to experience the glorious freedom in Christ in Romans 8 is wonderfully presented on today’s programme.
