Today we consider Zachariah’s excellent prophecy concerning Christ’s person and work in Lk. 1:57-80. We shall see how the conception of Jesus involved much more than mere divine power because it brought forth the mingling of two natures to produce a God-man who become our saviour! In this enlightening portion, God’s redemptive work for His people unto their salvation is revealed.
