Chick Yuill: Reaching the masses with the good news of Jesus

The pastor, preacher, writer and broadcaster speaks to Premier’s Andy Peck about his humble start in a Scottish mining town, and pastoring a number of churches with the Salvation Army. This included a spell in California and an appearance on ITV’s Jeremy Kyle Show to give a Christian angle in the heat of a debate about the ethics of same-sex relations. He says: “in the middle, was me trying to explain to the studio audience and the ITV audience that Christianity and total insanity, we're not related terms!”
His heart to reach the many who aren’t aware of the Gospel led to his writing novels for the mass market and his lifelong enthusiasm for radio is behind his delight at presenting on Premier Christian Radio’s on Friday mornings. At 74 years of age, he’s still exercising daily and has the enthusiasm of a 20 year-old.
