The Screwtape Letters

One of CS Lewis’s most popular classics, The Screwtape Letters is a series of correspondences between the veteran demon Screwtape and his rookie nephew Wormwood, who has just been assigned his first ‘patient’ to lead astray. In the letters, Screwtape gives his nephew advice on the most effective way to prevent his ‘patient’ from forming a relationship with ‘the enemy’ (God). Thought-provoking and funny, the letters serve as great advice to the reader or listener in how to avoid pitfalls and temptations in our own spiritual lives. In this series, the letters are brought to life through the brilliant performances of the late Rob Lacey (1962 – 2006) the British actor, storyteller and author best known for writing The Word on the Street (formerly The Street Bible). First broadcast on Premier Christian Radio in 1998.
